OK! Magazine is facing a petition for the stop of the publication of the OK! Magazine Michael Jackson Cover photo. OK! Magazine published a copy of it's magazine featuring the King of Pop in the cover. OK! Magazine is reported to have paid $500,000 for the cover photo of the dying Michael Jackson.
The Michael Jackson OK! Magazine Cover Photo is opposed by some people, friends, and fans as being pure business and does not in any way celebrate the legacy of the King of Pop.
In response of the outrage regarding the Photo this is what OK Editorial Director Sarah Ivens said:
The Michael Jackson OK! Magazine Cover Photo is opposed by some people, friends, and fans as being pure business and does not in any way celebrate the legacy of the King of Pop.
In response of the outrage regarding the Photo this is what OK Editorial Director Sarah Ivens said:
“It’s a photo that captures the surprise and the upset and the moment of this breaking news story . . . I hope the cover will provoke readers. It celebrated the man, but it also does expose that he was an eccentric character who lived a very controversial life.”
D Front Page decided not to include the OK! Magazine Michael Jackson photo as the issue is delicate and might even be the subject of a litigation in court on the account of invasion of privacy.
